Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 2 years' supervisory experience.
  • 2 years' experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years' experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.
  • 2 years of people leadership experience.
  • 2 years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience.
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency.
  • Strategic Planning experience.
  • Working in a large, complex, matrixed organization.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • Certified Public Accountant certification.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Home Merchant teams to drive business results and define the strategic initiatives in these exciting businesses.
  • Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop, communicate, build support for, and implement business strategies, plans, and practices; analyze costs and forecasts and incorporate them into business plans.
  • Determine and support resource requirements.
  • Evaluate operational processes; measure outcomes to ensure desired results; identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Promote a customer environment; demonstrate adaptability and sponsor continuous learning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruit, select, and develop talent; support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
  • Leverage the capabilities of new and existing talent.
  • Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals.
  • Sponsor and lead key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engage key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives.
