About The Position

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Director to join our Lifestyle Finance Organization where you will be part of a team of professionals who love what they do. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Lifestyle Team and Hyatt Corporate Finance Teams, where you will be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. You will be part of a team passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, committed to nurturing curiosity and new skills and building connections across the organization with stakeholders, colleagues, and guests.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Finance or Business role, with demonstrated career advancement
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance or accounting
  • Prior roles will have included communicating with and working with senior management
  • Strong analytical background with attention to detail
  • Ability to draw insights from analysis, and articulate in a manner that allows for decisions to be made and actions to be taken
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft products

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality or retail industry experience
  • Advanced degree (Master's, MBA, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle / Hyperion products

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the forecasting and budgeting processes for both corporate departments and hotels within the Lifestyle division, including the tools used, to ensure the integrity of data that feeds future expectations
  • Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and deliverables for senior leadership within the Lifestyle division
  • Collaborating with hotels, regional offices, and corporate functions including Operations, Commercial Services, Investor Relations, and Global Financial Planning & Analysis, to assist in the effective communication of past business performance and future expectations, drawing out insights that drive decisions
  • Development of direct reports and other team members by providing coaching and training, and seeking opportunities to stretch each team member's skills
  • Supporting the evolution of Lifestyle Finance to best meet the needs of our growing and changing business
  • Working on, and/or leading various special projects and initiatives, many with cross-functional teams
