The Director, AWS Worldwide Public Sector Finance will be the single-threaded finance leader for Amazon's rapidly growing Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) business. This includes providing controllership and strategic partnership to the US Federal, State and Local, Education, Health Care and Life Sciences and International public sector businesses -- all of which are critical growth drivers to AWS. This position will serve as a liaison for Public Sector and will partner with Finance counterparts across AWS service teams, infrastructure team, sales, and business operations. This position will be part of the AWS Finance org, supporting the WWPS VP and Head of Business Operations. The successful candidate will help drive strategic growth of the Public Sector business by providing financial stewardship and analytical insights into key financial and operational performance metrics. This role will be a strategic partner to the business to assist in evaluating new operational processes and business expansion opportunities.
