About The Position

AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies. However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university with supplementary insurance education preferred.
  • Ten or more years of residual market or voluntary market experience, including experience at a supervisory and/or management level.
  • Experience and familiarity with formalized project management methodology is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AIPSO departments and their services is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop plans and recommendations to AIPSO's Senior Management Team (SMT) on the development of new services, recommend and help develop / implement scalable departmental models, and strategic initiatives (long and short term) that support the expansion of value-added services to the plans.
  • Plan and establish communication vehicles through PIPSO, the Alliance and other groups to ensure constant positive representation of AIPSO's professional services in accordance with our initiatives.
  • Lead multifunctional teams from single or multiple AIPSO departments to respond to requests and monitor their performance against defined deliverables of the project or service agreement.
  • Meet with department heads to assist with annual department strategic planning and metrics for periodic evaluation.
  • Modify and implement strategic direction as defined by SMT.
  • Present status reports in response to defined objectives through direct interaction with SMT members to refine quarterly, annual and multi-year objectives while continuously representing AIPSO as the primary point of contact for Fair Plan services.
  • Prepare proposals in close conjunction with other Team Leaders, ad department staff delivering the service to ensure AIPSO's long-term success across all organizations.
