Department OverviewThis role serves as the marketing functional leader within the assigned field office leadership team. Responsible for development of cohesive marketing plans that drive the national agenda, enhance our world class brand, optimize the customer experience locally and boost sales in a highly complex / medium complex market.   Key Stakeholders:  One Field Team | Field Marketing VP | Cross Functional Marketing Partners | Local Agency Leadership

Requirements

  • BA / BS in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years marketing or advertising agency experience; generalist experience across a variety of functions (creative, media, digital, brand, etc.)
  • Significant leadership experience
  • Experience working in a franchise or quick-service restaurant environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in the quick service restaurant industry or similar consumer-facing sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, as well as strong project management skills.
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Experience mentoring and developing others
  • Encourages and implements innovation / creativity to drive market success
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and solutions to address cross-market opportunities (e.g. Business Unit consolidation)
  • Identify, evaluate, define and implement process improvements across field marketing teams to streamline activities, enhance efficiency and improve performance
  • Deliver training / capability building to enhance the capabilities of local marketing agencies; ensuring consistent marketing best practices
  • Identify and share best practices; foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Develop and manage a master calendar that aligns marketing activities across all field offices
  • Manage a pool of supervisors that can be deployed to various field marketing teams as needed to address specific market needs
  • Maintain a detailed local marketing budget to provide insights and recommendations to both national and field offices on allocations.
