QUALIFICATIONS Required: BS / BA in life sciences, engineering, or facilities management or, equivalent combination of education, training and experience with a minimum of 12 years of GXP and 10 years of management experience Experience leading small and/or medium capital projects Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, compressed gas systems, clean water systems, plumbing and electrical systems Project Management experience Ability to observe operations and provide feedback on safe practices in alignment with Enable procedures, state and /or federal guidelines/requirements Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements as well as local environmental agencies Preferred: Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems Established relationships with local trades and community agencies such as police and fire departments Strong understanding of cleanroom operations and construction requirements Experience managing multi-site environments Certifications in life safety as well as verifiable OSHA, NIOSH or NSC training Certified Facility Manager (CFM) Facility Management Professional (FMP) Building Operator Certification (BOC) LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) Skills & Competencies: Operational experience that has resulted in process and cost efficiencies, and space improvements Ability to lead high performing teams Hire, onboard, coach, train and develop a team with complementary skill sets to ensure board support of Enable’s facility and EH&S needs Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Strong strategic planning, organization, execution, and communication skills Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices Project management expertise (PMP certification a plus) Excellent budget management and financial analysis skills Strong vendor management and negotiation abilities Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage competing priorities and support organizational agility Ability to direct facilities operations and functions for multiple sites Proven success managing both people and projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability lead cross functionally Physical Requirements: This position is typically located in an office environment Travel between multiple sites is required Ability to wear appropriate PPE if necessary to enter certain work environments Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time Ability to climb ladders and stairs in performing work
