About The Position

The Director, Executive Recruiting at Lumen is responsible for leading the executive recruitment team and overseeing all aspects of the executive hiring process. Requirements

  • Proven experience in executive recruitment or a similar leadership role
  • 10+ years of leading Talent Acquisition/Executive Talent Acquisition experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and candidates
  • Critical skills in negotiating and influencing senior level leaders
  • Demonstrated strong analytic skills with a proven track record of using data and metrics
  • Highly effective and timely decision-making on significant financial matters
  • Exceptional customer focus
  • Proven delivery of creative and innovative approaches to problem solving

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership of medium to large size Talent Acquisition teams
  • Previous Talent Acquisition experience in complex, Fortune 150 organizations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the executive recruitment team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Drive recruiter optimization behaviors, including simplifying work and ensuring talent advisor skills
  • Work with business leaders and recruiters to enhance and grow the talent brand
  • Provide consultant-level talent advisory services to leaders for talent acquisition excellence
  • Regularly interact with senior level executives and other key stakeholders to obtain hiring plans
  • Drive a data-driven recruiting organization by developing recruiting metrics and analytics
  • Develop and execute best-in-class practices for candidate experience
  • Anticipate and strategize for unexpected turns in hiring levels
  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and retain top executive talent
  • Collaborate with HR Solutions Team and other HR COEs to ensure best-in-class talent strategies
  • Support overall Talent Acquisition cost control
  • Lead, develop, execute and monitor recruiter performance in building effective job offers
  • Manage special projects assigned in addition to overall responsibilities.
