The American Lung Association has an excellent opportunity for a Director, Executive & Governance Operations. Working as a member of the Executive Office department, you will join an outstanding group of professionals dedicated to our mission: to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy. The Director of Executive & Governance Operations is a senior operational role responsible for managing operational and governance support functions of the President & CEO, National Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Inclusion, Engagement & Governance Officer, this role ensures disciplined execution, continuity and accuracy across Board processes and enterprise operations. This role also serves as project manager for the annual work plan and key strategic initiatives, ensuring coordinated execution, progress tracking, and alignment with organizational priorities, while overseeing all associated financial, contractual, and logistical responsibilities. Location: The position is located at the American Lung Association’s Chicago, Illinois office and will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual work.
