The Director of Exam Accommodations at Columbia Health is a pivotal role under the leadership of the Senior Executive Director of Disability Services. This position is responsible for the strategic planning and operational management of the Testing Center, which administers undergraduate instructional testing services. The Director will provide administrative oversight and visionary leadership for all aspects of accommodated exams and proctoring services, ensuring compliance with established policies, laws, regulations, and University standards related to testing accommodations. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Senior Executive Director to create a responsive and agile Disability Services Testing Center that upholds procedural compliance and academic integrity while implementing approved testing accommodations. In this role, the Director will oversee the proctoring of approximately 15,000 exams and quizzes annually, providing leadership and supervision for Testing Center personnel. The Director will also manage high-volume communications with faculty and administrators regarding testing logistics, ensuring that all testing-related processes adhere to University, state, and federal ADA policies. This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate peak periods during midterms and finals, with some hybrid work options available. The Director will also be part of the senior management team within Disability Services, contributing to campus-wide initiatives aimed at fostering student development and satisfaction. This includes guiding collaborative efforts to enhance service delivery and ensuring that faculty and staff understand the laws and University policies concerning testing accommodations.
