Establishes, directs and sustains a fiscally responsible and measurably effective, housekeeping and linen program across the hospital. The director is expected to lead a housekeeping operation that produces a sparkling clean, hygienic, and safe environment that is patient-centered, sustainable (i.e. employs "green cleaning" and integrated pest management), aligned with customer demands, and yields great results measured by patient satisfaction scores and internal key performance indicators within the approved budget. Responsible to maintain compliance with applicable Federal and District regulations to include, but not limited to EPA, DDOE, DOH and OSHA. The Director of Environmental Services/Housekeeping is a key member of the GW Hospital Leadership Team.
