About The Position

The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UChicago’s mission is to advance innovative ideas and technologies from the University of Chicago ecosystem to the world. It aims to create entrepreneurial leaders through a broad range of experiences, including classroom learning, experiential learning, leading-edge research, and community outreach. The Director, Entrepreneurship Programs is a key leadership role on the Booth Entrepreneurship Program team at the Polsky Center, requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, an in-depth understanding of entrepreneurship and venture capital, and experience coaching and mentoring founders and students. This role oversees a large and expanding portfolio of graduate and undergraduate programs focused on entrepreneurial education, mentorship, and venture creation. The Director is responsible for proactively identifying gaps and opportunities in the Center’s offerings and designing innovative, high-impact experiential programs that equip students with the skills, knowledge, and networks to launch and grow ventures. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping the entrepreneurial culture and ecosystem at the University of Chicago. The Director also leads a team of 2-3 full-time staff members.
