About The Position

The Director of Enterprise Product Safety and Compliance at Winnebago Industries is responsible for ensuring that the company's products are safe, environmentally sustainable, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in safety, engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in product safety and/or compliance.
• Minimum of 7 years of managerial experience, including leadership and people management.

Nice To Haves

• Recreational Vehicle industry background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and implement technical and strategic approaches to ensure product safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement an enterprise product safety and compliance strategy.
• Enhance, develop and oversee product safety and sustainability compliance policies and processes.
• Manage and support a team of subject matter experts in executing regulatory submission documents.
• Address regulatory inquiries and investigations related to product safety.
• Conduct internal reviews and analyses regarding product safety and compliance.
• Review new and existing products for compliance with laws and standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with federal, state, and local regulators.
• Enhance and oversee employee training programs on product safety and compliance.
• Provide strategic guidance to business units on product safety and risk management.
