Director, Enterprise Data Management
About The Position
The Director, Enterprise Data Management is responsible for supporting and executing HMA’s enterprise data strategy and overseeing key data management functions in alignment with organizational goals. This role focuses on data governance, data quality, analytics delivery, and operational oversight of HMA’s data environments. The Director partners closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to implement data initiatives, manage assigned technical and non-technical resources, and ensure the reliable design, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise data, analytics, and reporting solutions. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, hands-on leadership of data initiatives, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management, analytics, governance, or related field required.
- Experience leading data initiatives and managing team members is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and data lifecycle management
- Experience with analytics, business intelligence tools, and reporting platforms
- Working knowledge of database administration and data management, including SQL
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
- Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
