Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 5+Years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry.
  • 5+ years of a leadership role in the same or similar environment.
  • Fully Flexible Schedule – to include weekends as needed
  • EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO- CPR/ AED certifications
  • HVAC certification.
  • Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department and makes adjustments to the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations.
  • Conducts weekly walk-throughs of each resort tower to visually assess the physical structure(s) of the building.
  • Maintains the level of safety, efficient maintenance, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment.
  • Assigns routine maintenance tasks on public spaces, meeting rooms, guest rooms, outlets, back-of-the-house spaces, and grounds.
  • Assigns and verifies completion with all Maintenance Technicians of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects to offices and employee work areas.
  • Ensure that the property’s Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
  • Ensures that the property is in Compliance with the Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations Brand Standards related to engineering department such as the Preventive Maintenance of each unit 2 times per year.
  • Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensures that accurate purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply.
  • Ensures all assets of the department, equipment, supplies and storage are accurately locked and secured.
  • Develops and maintains human resource management practices that are performed by subordinates which include recruitment, performance management, and corrective action in partnership with the HR Business Partner.
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to prepare Reserve spend project and Capital Projects.
  • Develops and leads the financial spending of the operations as it relates to the established Annual HOA budget, Reserve budget and Capital Budget.
  • Participate in the MOD program as assigned by Senior Leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership.
