Requirements

• Bachelor's/ master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 15+ years of experience with Bachelor's or 12+ years of experience with Master's in areas such as Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, with 8+ years of technical management experience
• Proven mentoring and coaching capabilities of Software Engineers
• Hands on experience in JavaScript, React, Docker, AWS (or other cloud platforms)
• Enthusiasm for implementing AI solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a strategic technological vision and direction for the Software Engineering organization
• Lead and manage the Software Development that meets the needs of XDR internal and external customers
• Design, guide and assess systems designs and oversee review of product/system development code developed by other engineers to solve ambiguous problems
• Ensure delivery consistent with Agile processes across the team
• Work effectively with Product, SOC and other service stakeholders to ensure software delivery matching agreed priorities
• Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software development activities
• Accountable for the on time and to quality delivery of software development projects
• Review and apply best practices to establish architecture and frameworks consistent with and supportive of the Product Strategy
• Manage talent across the team, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and ensuring effective operational management
• Evolve the product roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs and develop the mid-term technical vision for projects/products
• Represent the organization at industry events and conferences and collaborate with executive leadership to set technology direction and priorities
