About The Position

As a Director of Engineering for Honeywell Building Management Solutions V&A portfolio, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the engineering function for Valve and Actuator globally. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the engineering teams working on these solutions. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our Building Management Solutions business unit and the satisfaction of our customers. You will report directly to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and will work out of our Atlanta, GA or Plymouth, MN location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and achieve business objectives for our Valve and Actuator business. Your strategic leadership, technical expertise, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10 plus years of experience in engineering leadership roles
  • Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong technical expertise in building management solutions for Valves and Actuators
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in project management and execution
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects for these solutions

  • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines for these solutions
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on these solutions
