About The Position
The position reports to the VP of Engineering Services and is responsible for directing the overall strategy for the automation of company pipelines and facilities. Specifically, this position will lead and direct the internal Automation Design and Support Service Teams that serve Kinder Morgan Business Units and subordinate businesses, including: Natural Gas Pipelines, Compression Facilities, Storage Facilities, Processing Plants, and LNG Import and Export Facilities, RNG Plants and associated LNG Facilities, CO2 Pipelines and Transmission Facilities, Liquid Products Pipelines, Pumping Facilities, and Terminals, Truck Rack Terminals and Loadout Facilities, Liquid Products Transmix Processing & Splitter Facilities. In addition, this position is also responsible for directing and managing the Leak Detection and Pipeline Simulation Team.
