We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Engineering Group Leader to lead and deliver Enterprise Data, Analytics and AI Strategic Objectives. The Strategic Objectives are centered around Four Strategic Pillars of Enterprise Data Platform - More Robust Enterprise Data Masters, Industrial Grade Enterprise Data Mesh, Modern Security & Pricing Platform, Automated Governance and Lineage Platforms. These Strategic Objectives are geared to drive Firm Pillars around Commercialization of Data delivering on Commercial Data Products. This role is in New York City, NY.

Requirements

  • Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 12+ years of experience in systems analysis, program development, and technology leadership.
  • Well Informed and Practical AI Experience - Building Agents, Agentic Frameworks, MCP.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years managing development project teams, preferably in complex, global environments.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale technology projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to agile and inclusive engineering culture.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • This role requires a visionary leader who can build and manage high-performing teams, drive innovation, and deliver technology solutions that enhance business outcomes.
  • Lead and manage development team, ensuring appropriate design, technical capabilities, and resource allocation to meet strategic objectives.
  • Champion change management initiatives, encouraging innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement in technology solutions.
  • Drive quality and adherence to best practice in the end-to-end design and implementation of systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders, as well as clients, to develop solutions that drive revenue, client satisfaction, and efficiency.
  • Develop and execute group-wide business plans and participate in firm-wide initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts, handling escalations effectively.
  • Drive recruitment, development, and retention of diverse talent, fostering an inclusive culture that supports professional growth and wellbeing.
  • Manage operating budgets, forecast resource needs, and ensure financial discipline within the approved plans.
  • Motivate and mentor team members to maximize their contributions and support their career development.
