About The Position

Cotiviti is seeking a Director, Engineering Delivery, to work closely with our SVP of Engineering to enforce safe agile processes across the Cotiviti organization at a corporate level for all engineering. This position is responsible for overseeing the full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of highly complex, large-scale, strategic Product and business initiatives. The Engineering Delivery Director will be responsible for managing and coordinating a number of key product commercialization, cross functional initiatives, and risk mitigation efforts undertaken by Cotiviti.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in computer science or engineering or other technology related program or equivalent experience. Masters preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, to include 5+ years of experience in project/program management roles, preferably with a technology product company
  • Experience implementing best practices and standards related to Agile scrum development & testing practices
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies; Windows Server OS, Directory Services and Linux/VMware environments experience with hosting services in the cloud using AWS or equivalent (Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Strong capability with MS Excel is required. Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly including SharePoint, Outlook and PowerPoint; Visio experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies in-project, out-of-project, in-company, and out-of-company, upstream and downstream within project constraints
  • Proven problem-solving skills to anticipate the risks of non-performance and incorporate prevention and remediation measures within the implementation plan
  • Ability to establish KPIs, track velocity, and execute structured problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex cross-cultural environments to drive business process change.
  • Experience developing operational processes and process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results across organization
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Track, monitor and deliver multiple inter dependent releases across all initiatives
  • Ability to be the go to person with knowledge to help leaders understand various corporate Data and AI initiatives and help them adopt and deliver their products incorporating all AI Innovation initiatives
  • Participate in the implementation and establishment of PMO policies, system monitors and controls to ensure the successful management and reporting of all Engineering Product initiatives
  • Manage and maintain clearly documented details on development projects, risks, escalations and issues
  • Act as the Chief of Staff for CTO office to help with budget, resources and process monitoring and enforcement
  • Manage cloud as well as On-Prem Engineering program management
  • Ability to work with Product manages and PLOs to balance product features vs technical innovation
  • Track and deliver on company initiatives across different product teams
  • Interface with Sales, Marketing and Implementation teams to coordinate deliveries
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders including Product Management, Architecture, Engineering, QA, Technical Writing etc. to drive projects to success
  • Assist Engineering leaders with Development Process
  • Partner with SRE team to help manage engineering & SRE rotation.
  • Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier talent, with a focus on building and improving a team and culture that is able to assist in employing best in class practices to support and drive high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties assigned.
