The Energy Trader position requires actively making markets in US and Canadian natural gas basis markets. The candidate will be required to manage a portfolio of natural gas exposures across multiple locations and various tenures. The role requires working on a trading floor in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with both trading and sales. The team is responsible for timely and accurate submission of data to the respective systems and market operators. The successful candidate will have proficiency in Natural Gas infrastructure and provide traders and sales teams with timely and accurate market data. As well, they will provide commentary in a variety of areas including new trade ideas, system enhancements, and fundamental analysis.
