About The Position

Join Snowflake's dynamic Legal team as an experienced attorney focused on managing a variety of employment and litigation matters. This in-person role, based in Dublin, CA, is pivotal in providing legal guidance and support across various teams within the organization. You will serve as the employment law partner, addressing a wide range of issues including payroll compliance, HR-related compliance, global mobility and immigration, recruiting, professional services, contingent worker issues, pay equity reporting, and statutory employment-related reporting such as EEO-1 and AAP. Your expertise will also extend to pay practices, environmental health and safety compliance, and employee training requirements. In addition to employment law responsibilities, you will lead employment-related due diligence and integration activities during mergers and acquisitions, as well as support international expansion initiatives. Collaboration with privacy counsel will be essential to address employee data protection and privacy issues, including responding to data subject access requests. You will be responsible for drafting employment-related agreements, policies, and forms, and will prepare and deliver training on HR and employment law topics in coordination with HR. Your role will also encompass litigation management, where you will work closely with the Legal team, outside counsel, and other stakeholders to manage various disputes and litigation matters, including commercial, IP, trademark, bankruptcy, and employment-related issues. You will handle responses to subpoenas and statutory requests, lead internal investigations, and develop scalable processes for managing litigation matters in a rapidly growing company. Your ability to pragmatically assess legal risks and propose practical solutions will be crucial in advising business stakeholders on litigation-related issues and contractual provisions in commercial agreements.
