About The Position
Join Snowflake's Legal team as an experienced attorney focused on managing a variety of employment and litigation matters. This role is pivotal in providing legal guidance and support to various teams within the organization, ensuring compliance with employment laws and managing litigation risks. The position is based in Dublin, CA, and is not remote, emphasizing the importance of in-person collaboration within the legal team. In the employment law domain, you will serve as a partner to different teams, advising on payroll compliance, HR-related issues, global mobility, recruiting, and pay equity reporting. You will lead employment-related due diligence during mergers and acquisitions and coordinate with privacy counsel on employee data protection matters. Your responsibilities will also include drafting employment agreements, policies, and conducting training sessions for managers on employment law topics. Regular audits and compliance assessments will be part of your role, along with monitoring changes in employment laws to keep stakeholders informed. On the litigation side, you will manage various disputes, including commercial, intellectual property, and employment-related litigation. This involves working closely with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to handle subpoenas, garnishment orders, and internal investigations. You will also be responsible for developing scalable processes for managing litigation matters and advising business stakeholders on legal risks associated with disputes. Your ability to simplify complex legal concepts and provide practical solutions will be crucial in this fast-paced environment.
