The Director Environmental Health & Safety position at Lyten is a cross functional role where you will be expected to work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. You will be regularly interacting with executive management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers, and coordinating actions and programs with multiple departments and teams to achieve specific plans and goals. In the first year, you’ll be expected to execute and continuously improve an integrated safety program at Lyten, which includes managing a safety committee, processing workman’s compensation, providing safety guidance to employees, ensuring code compliance with regulatory agencies, managing chemical waste disposal. Additionally, you will be expected to build and implement an environmental emissions monitoring program across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
