The Director of Implementation and Evaluation will support the operationalization, execution, and evaluation of the American Psychological Association's (APA) Racial Equity Action Plan (REAP), Accessibility and Inclusion Maturity Model (AIMM), and other equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) initiatives. This role will focus on ensuring the effectiveness and measurable impact of EDI efforts across the APA. The Director will work in close collaboration with internal and external partners to create and refine processes, conduct assessments, and drive continuous improvement in APA's approach to equity, inclusion, and accessibility. This is a highly collaborative role requiring excellent relationship management, critical and systems thinking, consultation, communication, and leadership skills. At its core, the position assembles and leads cross-functional teams against discrete and outcomes-oriented efforts. The incumbent is recognized as an expert when it comes to understanding the work of APA, takes an association-wide perspective when solving complex problems, and provides technical expertise to inform priority setting.
