In this role, you will lead the strategic vision and operational excellence of a dynamic eCommerce business, driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and digital innovation. You will own the online product experience from merchandising and platform management to conversion optimization and analytics. Partnering closely with marketing, design, and development teams, you will ensure seamless, data-driven enhancements that elevate the customer journey. This position provides an opportunity to lead a high-performing team, implement forward-looking eCommerce strategies, and shape the brand’s direct-to-consumer digital presence. Your decisions will directly impact online performance, operational efficiency, and overall business success. The role reports to the Chief Digital Officer and is fully remote.

  • Own the eCommerce strategy and site operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Lead direct-to-consumer initiatives to drive engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Optimize site performance through A/B testing, data analysis, and user experience improvements.
  • Oversee site merchandising to maximize product visibility, discoverability, and promotional impact.
  • Manage the Shopify platform, including enhancements, integrations, and stability improvements.
  • Establish data-driven processes to track key metrics, analyze performance, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, development, and design teams to ensure integrated campaigns and landing pages support eCommerce goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and professional development to team members, fostering a culture of growth and best-practice adoption.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of direct-to-consumer eCommerce experience, ideally across multiple brands or roles.
  • Proven expertise in conversion rate optimization (CRO), site roadmap management, and A/B testing.
  • Strong experience in site merchandising with a track record of improving customer engagement and product visibility.
  • Proficiency with Shopify platform management and related third-party integrations.
  • Analytical skills with experience using web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to drive decisions.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of home décor, furniture, UX/UI principles, SEO, and SEM strategies.
