This position is at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) in the Asset Management and Assistance Center. This position serves as the Director, Division of Operations, Systems and Policy. The incumbent will provide supervisory oversight and operational expertise, support and advice in all phases of the agency's liquidation program.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Division of Operations, Systems, and Policy; direct execution of such work and supervise the activities of subordinate staff.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate administrative and provide oversight activities associated with the management of AMAC; including budget and financial management, procurement, and records management.
  • Advise the AMAC President and Deputy President on recommended policy changes resulting from reviews of internal control programs, audit findings, identified gaps and liquidation activities.
  • Consult on data analysis requests to conceptualize and define data modeling requirements and work with large and complex data systems to organize, aggregate, prepare and validate data for use in financial analysis, business applications, and policy research.
  • Oversee the design, maintenance, and operation of the governance of AMAC's data.
  • Serve as a technical resource and ensure that systems are fully integrated within AMAC, as well as with systems from the other NCUA divisions according to applicable requirements.

  • Experience in preparing accounting systems and financial management policies, procedures, or operational guidance for a company or agency.
  • Experience in conducting financial or operational audits or internal control reviews.
  • Experience in preparing and administering a program's financial and resource budget for a company or agency.
  • Experience in implementing technology-based solutions to automate manual reports and processes.
  • Experience in converting raw data sets into visual and written reports.
  • Experience in examining or liquidating complex financial institutions.
