The director of the Diversity Research Network provides comprehensive, primary, service-oriented leadership on-campus through active and effective engagement faculty and scholars. The director is responsible for articulating and helping to realize the overall vision and programmatic offerings of the DRN. This includes outreach, engagement, assessment and reporting of program and participant outcomes. The director oversees the operations of the unit, supervises staff and student workers, and performs strategic outreach efforts to promote, collaborate, and develop substantive relations and partnerships with faculty, department chairs, deans, other administrative and executive leaders, and potential donors. The work described is in fulfillment of the DRN mission to further leading research and retain world-class academic contributors at Michigan State University.
