About The Position

As the Director, District Retail Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in driving BECU’s strategic objectives across multiple financial centers. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering service excellence, membership growth, and financial performance. You will inspire and develop large teams, ensuring they are aligned with BECU’s mission and values. Your efforts will directly contribute to the operational excellence and talent development within your district, making a significant impact on both the organization and the community. This role supports the North Seattle and Peninsula branches: Ballinger, Lynnwood, Shoreline, Lake City Square, Northgate, Ravenna, Ballard, Greenwood, Wallingford, Bainbridge, Gig Harbor, and Silverdale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business operations, or related field, or equivalent work or educational experience.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in leading teams.
  • Eight years of experience in the financial industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all responsibilities in accordance with BECU Competencies, compliance, regulatory, and Information Protection requirements.
  • Understand and translate BECU’s overall strategy into actionable plans for each financial center and community.
  • Provide and nurture team leadership characterized by professional expertise, care, and conduct, ensuring excellent service to Credit Union members.
  • Frequently visit financial centers to lead and develop Financial Center Managers, ensuring adherence to outlined processes and routines.
  • Manage and monitor service level standards to ensure they are consistently met.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to team members, conducting regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
  • Identify and develop key talent to support the talent pipeline, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment.
  • Monitor productivity measures and ensure defined sales, production, and retention goals are met.
  • Develop and submit operating plans and budgets, including compensation projections, for approval.
  • Recommend policy or procedure changes to enhance service or processes for internal or external customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
