KPMG is currently seeking a Director-Forensics S&L Regulatory & Compliance - Disaster Recovery in S&L Regulatory & Compliance for our Consulting practice. In this role, you will provide technical advisory services related to relief programs for disaster recovery, including program design and management for all recovery efforts. You will ensure regulatory and process compliance to maximize funding and expedite rebuilding while maintaining program integrity. Additionally, you will develop and implement strategies to maximize federal and state disaster assistance, providing expert programmatic and policy advice on federal disaster relief programs and developing long-range recovery plans that consider the costs of reconstruction and relocation/mitigation. Your responsibilities will also include designing and preparing presentations and reports, leveraging your strong written communication skills to provide meaningful recommendations to clients. You will contribute to industry and regulatory publications, write professional articles, and speak about current compliance issues at external seminars. Proactively participating in business development efforts for primary target clients within disaster locations will also be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for scheduling, planning, assigning, and providing direction and review of the work of team members working on assigned engagements.
