About The Position

Chartwells at Alvarado Independent School District located in Alvarado, TX, is on the hunt for a dynamic Director of Dining Services to lead our food service team across 5 schools, serving 3,800 students with passion and precision. If you have a knack for managing P&L, creating mouth-watering menus that will entice student participation, and driving initiatives with a client-focused approach, this is your chance to shine! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and innovation, committed to growing our dining program to new heights. With a supportive team that includes an Admin Assistant and 40 hourly associates, you'll work day time hours (7am-4pm) in a Monday - Friday schedule ensuring compliance with NSLP guidelines. Requirements

Minimum of an Bachelor's degree in Food Services/Management/Hospitality/Culinary/Nutrition necessary or equivalent experience.
Five plus years of foodservice management experience, prefers K12.
Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of high-volume food production is preferred.
