The way customers discover and engage with brands has shifted dramatically. AI now answers questions before users reach your website, traditional organic traffic is declining, and the path from awareness to conversion is more fragmented than ever. We’re looking for a strategic leader to navigate these changes and turn our websites into high-performing growth engines. As Director of Website Strategy, you’ll own the revenue and lead generation strategy across our digital properties, driving measurable business impact through website optimization, advertising opportunities, and conversion rate improvements. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in digital marketing, SEO, CRO, and data-driven insights with a relentless focus on outcomes—not just implementation. You’ll collaborate across teams to ensure our websites deliver exceptional user experiences and journeys while fueling brand growth and revenue.

  • Own the P&L for website-driven revenue, including lead generation, advertising/monetization opportunities, and conversion optimization; prioritize monetization strategies and advertising opportunities across all digital properties
  • Set quarterly and annual targets for leads, conversions, and revenue—and build the roadmap to hit them
  • Identify new monetization opportunities across our digital properties and build business cases for investment
  • Define how we win in an AI-disrupted landscape—understanding that traffic sources are shifting and adapting our strategy accordingly
  • Champion first-party data and owned audience development as a strategic priority, reducing dependence on third-party traffic
  • Partner with SEO, content, and technical teams to ensure our digital presence remains visible as search evolves toward AI-powered discovery
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and educate leadership on implications for our digital strategy, including AI-driven search innovations, generative content platforms, and UX best practices
  • Lead conversion rate optimization initiatives, defining testing priorities and success criteria including A/B testing, personalization, and funnel optimization
  • Ensure our websites deliver experiences that convert across devices, channels, and entry points—including AI-referred traffic
  • Evaluate and recommend investments in on-site tools (chatbots, personalization, lead capture) based on business impact
  • Define KPIs that reflect the new reality—moving beyond vanity traffic metrics to focus on lead quality, conversion rates, and revenue attribution
  • Report to executive leadership on digital performance with clear insights and recommendations
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships, holding partners accountable to business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Brand teams to align digital initiatives with broader business goals and lead collaboration on website enhancements and marketing initiatives that drive engagement and conversions
  • Translate business objectives into clear briefs for technical and creative teams
  • Build relationships across the organization to accelerate execution and remove roadblocks
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, website strategy, or performance marketing roles.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue or lead generation growth through digital channels.
  • Strong business acumen with experience owning P&L or revenue targets
  • Understanding of how AI is reshaping search and discovery—and what it means for business strategy (you don't need to implement, but you need to understand)
  • Experience with CRO programs, A/B testing strategy, and conversion funnel optimization
  • Ability to interpret analytics and translate data into strategic recommendations
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and lead management systems.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in real estate, financial services, or related industries involving B2B2C models with complex lead generation funnels.
  • Background in managing agency relationships and holding external partners accountable
  • Familiarity with marketing technology stack evaluation and vendor selection
