Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Director, Digital & Operations Analytics to join the BK US Finance & Analytics Team based in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for supporting our digital, restaurant technology, and operations services functions in all aspects of analytics, insights generation, and data to help drive the business. The role will also have key responsibilities in serving as the point person for AI & LLM enablement across the corporate BKC organization. Key position requirements include strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and presentation skills. The position will report into the Senior Director, Strategic Insights & Franchisee Profitability, BK NA. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week out of our office in Miami, FL.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of analytics, operations, digital, finance or consulting experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Creative approach to critical thinking with a particular strength & focus in converting business questions to data & analytical frameworks
  • Strong expertise and comfort in the manipulation & analysis of all types of data (Structured vs Unstructured, Numerical/Text/Spatial, Sample Limited, etc.)
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills to include formal presentation experience and the ability to prepare and present presentations to senior leadership.
  • Must be advanced with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) as well as Outlook.
  • Must be advanced in SQL, Snowflake and ideally possess AWS familiarity

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal candidate will also have relevant experience with statistical modeling (Forecasting, Clustering, Media Mix, etc.) and a relevant language (Python, R, etc.).
  • Ideal candidate will also have relevant experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI/etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key contact & partner for the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Operations Officer in all things analytics, insights, data, and strategy.
  • Organize and drive value-adding systemic adoption and implementation of AI & LLMs across all functions within BK North America
  • Leverage data & analytics to generate assessments and recommendations for the digital business – with a particular focus on 1P, 3P Delivery as key slices via both national system activation assessments and market or A/B tests.
  • Leverage data & analytics to generate assessments and recommendations for any restaurant technology implementations – with a particular focus on BK Assistant, BK Audio, Kiosks, and PAR as key workstreams.
  • Leverage data & analytics to generate assessments and recommendations of all operations and a majority of field related workstreams with a particular focus on FSS, labour, and field & franchisee routines.
  • Identify and assess key AI/LLM opportunities across the entire BK corporate structure & develop custom GPTs, LLM model integrations, and other tools that help all teams improve capabilities and gain productivity.
  • Serve as key RBI/BKNA contact for certain major vendor relationships (Visa/Liveramp/ Qualtrics/etc.) and key analytics/insights contact for others (Uber/Doordash/etc.)
  • Develop and mentor team of 7-10 FTE & Contractors with key focus on growing analytics talent bench and broader AI capabilities across BKNA.
