About The Position

The Director of Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) at Tokio Marine HCC is responsible for shaping the future of the DFIR team by creating and inspiring a group of specialists dedicated to excellence in digital forensics, incident response, and threat mitigation. This role involves overseeing all aspects of digital forensic investigations, managing incident response operations, and ensuring the team remains updated on emerging cyber threats while acting as the primary client contact during incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant professional work experience.
• 8-10 years of experience in leading and managing DFIR teams and managing active cybersecurity engagements.
• 4 years of prior people management or team leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
• Familiarity with Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) related to cyber crime syndicates.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing DFIR team, including technical specialists in areas like malware analysis and digital evidence collection.
• Act as the 'Incident Commander' for insureds during cyber incidents, providing clear communication and recovery direction.
• Lead incident response activities during cybersecurity breaches, including initial triage and recovery phases.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive incident response plans aligned with industry best practices.
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand DFIR service offerings.
