About The Position

The Director of Diagnostic Imaging & Breast Health provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for all radiology and breast imaging services across multiple hospital sites. This role is responsible for ensuring high‑quality, patient‑centered imaging services that meet regulatory standards, support clinical excellence, and align with hospital and system priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or licensed technologist preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital‑based radiology.
• Strong background in healthcare operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.
• Proven ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and strategic planning for all radiology and breast health services.
• Oversee budgets, productivity, financial performance, and capital planning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accreditation (ACR, TJC, FDA, DPH, NAPBC).
• Partner with physicians, medical directors, and hospital leadership to develop new programs, services, and technologies.
• Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing radiology leaders and staff.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, equipment inventory, and service agreements.
• Represent Radiology and Breast Health on hospital and system committees.
• Support clinical education and student training programs.
