The DevOps Director plays a visible and influential leadership role to maintain and evolve our application development and infrastructure administration practices. They help lead the creation and support of development and internal CICD pipelines that limit human interaction with production systems, ensure code quality, and enable reproducibility across builds. They enable development teams to deploy services on-demand and ensure that proper screening and testing of the code takes place within the pipelines. They also enable platform teams to build infrastructure and deploy configurations without traditional administrative access. This role also has responsibility for code repositories and pipeline orchestration tools. This role will help establish technical standards and patterns, create tools and automated workflow capabilities, and help platform teams build and deploy on-prem and cloud ecosystems that foster a high degree of innovation and enablement. This person will also be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of a DevOps Engineering team, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and performance management.
