In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Develops and leads company strategy around equipment design engineering related to IDT manufacturing technology. Develops and measures standard metrics. Directs and develops the design engineering team from proof-of-concept efforts to product delivery. Effectively plans, resources, prioritizes projects that the design engineering team is responsible for and delivers on project milestones and timelines. Provides engineering leadership to ensure project deliverables are achieved. Establishes and fosters culture of innovation and development Proactively engages with customers (internal and external to IDT) to identify and develop new technology opportunities Supervises, mentors, coaches, and directs staff to continuously develop individual’s capabilities and skills
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience managing a technical team of engineers
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in engineering, or related field with equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of equipment design engineering practices in biotech
