Your role: You lead a national team of project managers, responsible for the efficient, high quality, and on time/budget delivery of healthcare design/build projects, coordinated with Siemens Healthcare equipment installations. You partner with Vendor Management, Solutions Implementation, Planning, Legal, and other support functions to drive consistent project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. You lead and coordinate all state licensure requirements related to design/build projects. You provide input and ownership of the Revenue Forecast related to Design and Construction Services (DCS) revenue. You manage activities to accelerate schedules or mitigate projects scheduled risks in support of national/zone revenue goals. You closely coordinate with Legal and Procurement departments on the overall contracting process (including AIA forms of contracts) with project owners and vendors. You maintain accurate and up to date forecast information in the appropriate tools You train and mentor field/hybrid(flex) DCS Project Managers, including coordination and oversight of on-the-Job Training (OJT) for new PMs You manage the overall project proposal process, ensuring scope/cost goals are met. You recruit, develop, manage, and mentor construction/design vendors. You develop, implement, and optimize national processes across functions, improve interfaces and handoffs between business areas. You provide leadership and support for risk intervention and recommends/implements mitigation measures to prevent schedule slippage. You continuously monitor all projects as reported weekly via BRIDGE, SAP, and other internal systems to achieve the company’s business objectives. You support our sales organization with customer site visits, project budgeting, and capital planning throughout the US. You drive and ensure site readiness and success project turnover and delivery. You provide direct support, direction, and leadership for the DCS project team in critical situations.

  • 10+ years of successful experience in healthcare construction.
  • Current holder (or ability to obtain in 6 months) of healthcare construction/design credentials (e.g. ASHE CHC, AIA).
  • Ability to achieve/hold state specific general contractor licenses throughout the country.
  • Required BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree.
  • High level of business acumen including financial, market positioning, healthcare industry, and customer knowledge.
  • Ability to apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
  • Conflict resolution skills – External & Internal.
  • Excellent presentation skills including creating and presenting training materials.
  • Additional experience working with customer C-level preferred.
