About The Position

Aspen Dental is hiring for a Director of Lab Implementation. You will be a key member of our Lab Team supporting the implementation, operationalization, and sustainment of the operating model as it pertains to the lab business. You will be responsible for overseeing the Lab Implementation team that provides training and support for lab related initiatives including but not limited to: Intraoral Scanning, Digital Dentures, Analog Dentures, and operational lab support. By providing people-leadership, strong partnerships, process improvement & strategic vision, you will ensure Aspen Dental can meet the needs of the organization as well as the patients we serve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, strategic planning, stakeholder partnerships, and people leadership
  • Experience managing across matrix for execution with strong problem-solving skills focused on identifying solutions for customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to balance multiple, high priorities initiatives simultaneously
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities
  • Attention to detail and results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Dental Lab or Dental Field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with 3Shape and Sprintray products preferred
  • Experience with Learning & Development Methodologies preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive launch strategies around lab related initiatives for both operations and clinical stakeholders
  • Develop and drive ongoing sustainment strategies to drive performance at the practice level
  • Oversee tracking of performance metrics to achieve organizational goals
  • Understand the needs of the operators and develop resources to drive operational excellence in the field
  • Inspire and coach the team to grow their leadership capabilities and foster a high-performance culture
  • Drive a team-wide focus on professional growth, collaboration, and engagement
  • Develop and execute strategies for talent retention and succession planning
  • Incorporate a strategy of cross training and ongoing continuous education that promotes highly skilled team members
  • Collaborate with other Field and PSC partners to ensure smooth operational processes and procedures as it pertains to the lab
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure all L&D content needs are created and circulated for both implementation and new hire training
  • Create a process for continuous review of content to ensure all Aspen Dental programs have the most up-to-date lab-related content
  • Cultivate a bottom-up approach to problem-solving and innovation by empowering teams to identify and implement solutions
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to promote alignment, accountability, and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure the needs of the office users are communicated clearly for continuous product improvement

  • Salary range of $150,000 - $160,000 per year
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time domestically
