This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site. Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

  • Define and execute data strategy that supports all data requirements of the US Sandoz organization.
  • Develop an overall data strategy including data delivery, storage, integration framework, and supporting data architecture needs.
  • Oversee the management and monitoring of data procurement and contracts with external data providers.
  • Manage the data inventory to ensure it is procured and ingested efficiently, meeting franchise needs and accessibility.
  • Identify and establish processes for evaluating and optimizing data sources, driving cross-functional efficiencies.
  • Proactively monitor the execution of the data strategy and performance of data-related services.
  • Manage daily operations, continuous improvement, integration/deployment of new capabilities, demand, and budget management.
  • Identify, build & expand enabling application/platforms/data capabilities to create a competitive edge.
  • Drive end-to-end commercial processes through the IT/GCC landscape ensuring proper integration between systems.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, science, engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data strategy and data usage within a generics/pharmaceutical company.
  • Minimum 4 years generics/pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data sources, requirements, and uses.
  • Proven experience managing data providers/vendors.
  • Familiarity with advanced data management, BI tools, cloud and data lake principles.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing complex situations and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Advanced degree in a technical field.
