In this role, you will lead and scale a high-impact data engineering organization, shaping the strategy, architecture, and execution of modern data platforms that power critical business decisions. You will drive the development of robust data pipelines, scalable data warehouses, and advanced analytics capabilities to support internal teams and external stakeholders. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading data engineering teams and delivering modern data platforms at scale.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
  • Advanced SQL-based data modeling experience, ideally using frameworks such as DBT.
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant data pipelines with robust logging, alerting, and validation.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS tools such as Workato, Mulesoft, or Talend.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools including Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize, simplify complexity, and drive execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of scalable data infrastructure, including data warehouses, pipelines, integrations, and BI tooling.
  • Define and execute the long-term data engineering strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data engineers, including hiring and talent development.
  • Collaborate closely with data science, analytics, product, and operations teams to deliver user-friendly, high-impact data solutions.
  • Oversee sprint planning, resource allocation, and delivery execution to ensure high-quality, timely outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, governance, security, testing, and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to continuously improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance, reliability, and accuracy when working with sensitive and regulated data environments.
