Compensation: Budgeted between $138,000 and $184,200 dependent upon years of applicable experience. Hybrid: Experity offers Team Members the opportunity to work remotely or in an office. While this position allows remote work, we require Team Members to live within a commutable distance from one of our locations to ensure you are available to come into the office as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive hands-on experience building data systems and AI/ML solutions.
  • Three years in technical leadership roles.
  • Track record of building lean, high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven track record personally building and deploying production AI systems (not just managing teams).
  • Deep hands-on expertise with modern LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), and agentic AI architecture patterns.
  • Strong coding skills in Python with experience building data pipelines (dbt, Airflow), working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and deploying production systems.
  • Experience with modern data stack (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) and building scalable data architectures that support both analytics and AI workloads.
  • Action-oriented execution mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or regulated industries with understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Background building AI agents for operational automation, business process optimization, or revenue operations use cases.
  • Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, and evaluation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce architecture, GTM systems, and revenue operations workflows.
  • Startup or early-stage experience where you wore multiple hats and built systems from scratch with limited resources.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents hands-on for deal desk automation, pipeline intelligence, and compensation queries: writing code, implementing LLM frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen), and shipping working systems that deliver immediate business value.
  • Architect and implement the core data infrastructure supporting AI agents: building data pipelines (dbt, Airflow), vector databases, RAG systems, and APIs that enable autonomous decision-making with clinical precision.
  • Build and lead a lean engineering team (AI/ML engineers, data engineers) through hands-on mentorship, code reviews, and pair programming: recruiting top talent while maintaining high technical standards and rapid execution velocity.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, Product and GTM to understand business problems, translate requirements into technical solutions, and deploy working systems that remove obstacles and enable early wins.
  • Establish production-grade MLOps practices including automated testing, monitoring, alerting, and incident response: ensuring AI agents fail gracefully and technical issues are resolved immediately with transparency and accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement through rapid iteration: shipping MVPs, gathering feedback, measuring impact, and evolving systems based on real-world usage rather than lengthy planning cycles.
