A key contributor of PGIM Fixed Income Data Strategy, transforming and modernizing our data environment and landscape Develop data models that represent the structure and relationships of data within the organization Implement data governance initiatives, including data catalog, data quality framework, and data lineage Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, ensuring that data is processed and access efficiently Establish and enforce data best practices through comprehensive, documented guidelines and a transparent review process

Requirements

  • Proficiency in various data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical)
  • Expertise in designing relational databases and understands data normalization and denormalizations
  • Fluent in SQL Server development (DDL, Stored procedures, Views)
  • Experienced in implementing data catalog and data lineage systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives both independently and within teams.
  • Ability to communicate the status and challenges with the team
  • Demonstrating the ability to learn new skills and work as a team
  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Microsoft Purview
  • Experience with data lake/data marts/data warehouse
  • Working experience in a Linux based environment
  • Direct experience supporting multiple business units for foundational data work
  • Sound understanding of capital markets within Fixed Income and hands-on experience modeling data domains within financial markets
  • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SAFe development methodology & DevOps
  • Proven ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment.
