This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Focus areas include lithium UPS solutions, integrated battery systems, and lifecycle services aligned with EnerSys’ growth targets and competitive positioning.Job PurposeManage strategic accounts and channel partners in the data center segment, develop tailored solutions, and execute go-to-market strategies. Responsibilities include quota attainment, pipeline development, and collaboration with engineering and product teams to deliver innovative energy storage solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in data center or critical power sales leadership.
  • Proven success in hyperscale/enterprise account management and complex deal negotiations.
  • Strong technical understanding of UPS systems, lithium technology, and energy storage.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Own revenue targets for the data center segment across North America; drive quarterly sales attainment and forecast accuracy.
  • Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation operators as well as OEM partners; negotiate complex contracts and pricing.
  • Market Development: Identify emerging trends in lithium UPS and modular power systems; drive adoption of new products (NPI) and solution bundles.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align offerings with customer needs; enable channel partners and co-marketing initiatives.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage P&L for the segment, including forecasting, margin optimization, and deal review governance.
