The Director of the Data Center Advisory Team (DCAT) for the Americas Region at Cushman & Wakefield is a pivotal role that focuses on driving revenue growth within the Integrated Portfolio Management (IPM) function. This position is designed for a candidate who can navigate the complexities of data center management and advisory services, particularly for clients in the banking and finance sectors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing a consistent service delivery model across various workstreams and geographies, ensuring that clients receive a unified experience whether they are Cloud Service Providers or Fortune 500 enterprises looking to optimize their colocation strategies. In this role, the Director will act as a Client Relationship Manager, overseeing individual transactions and programs while maintaining high standards and consistency in service delivery. The position requires collaboration with regional and global Client Relationship Leads (CRLs) to engage clients effectively and integrate their digital strategies with corporate real estate (CRE) considerations. As the data center landscape evolves, the Director will help clients transition their focus from traditional real estate concerns to the critical integration of digital and data strategies into their overall portfolio management. The role will initially encompass a broad range of responsibilities as the optimal operating model for the Americas is defined and refined. The Director will be expected to lead the growth of data center opportunities, acting as a key liaison between managed occupier clients and the brokerage/service line platform. This includes developing a three-year business plan for IPM data centers that aligns with EMEA and APAC strategies, providing financial forecasts, and identifying capital investment needs to support the plan. The Director will also be responsible for managing new transactional and consulting opportunities, ensuring that the workload is effectively distributed among the brokerage/service line teams. Additionally, the Director will contribute to the Global Data Center Practice Group, collaborating with brokers and service line specialists to enhance the value delivered to managed enterprise accounts. Participation in major data center congress events will be essential for promoting the Cushman & Wakefield brand and the unique occupier niche of their services. This role is not only about managing existing relationships but also about championing new ideas and solutions that can drive revenue and enhance client satisfaction.
