About The Position

The Data Analytics Director at Federal-Mogul Powertrain LLC is responsible for delivering data analytics packages to executives to enable data-driven decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. This role supports FP&A and Corporate Finance Teams by working closely with them to dive deeper into data and deliver critical insights. The director will conduct strategic planning and develop and execute a data analytics strategy that aligns with organizational goals and business objectives. Additionally, the position oversees data integration from various sources, including OneStream and SAP, to create comprehensive, cohesive datasets. The director will deliver critical data analytics packages to executives, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Leading the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of interactive reports and dashboards utilizing analytics platforms such as Power BI, DAX Studio, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, OneStream, and various enterprise tools is also a key responsibility. The role includes supervising the design, development, and maintenance of reports and dashboards using various analytics tools, implementing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) tracking systems to monitor and enhance business performance, and providing in-depth analysis of revenue, costs, margins, and product segment performance. The director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, FP&A, and operations, to gather requirements and ensure analytics solutions meet business needs. Optimizing analytics processes and tools for performance, scalability, and usability is essential, as is ensuring continuous learning and development of the analytics team to keep up with industry trends and best practices. Comprehensive documentation of data sources, models, and analytics processes must be maintained.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Administration (MBA) with Concentration in CIS or MIS.
  • Eight (8) years of experience as a Data Analytics Manager or Data Analytics Supervisor.
  • Experience in the automotive or automotive parts manufacturing industry.
