Range is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Data & Analytics to lead and scale our data organization. In this pivotal leadership role, you will own the design, execution, and evolution of our data strategy — from foundational data engineering, data management, and governance to advanced analytics and actionable business insights. • Champion modern data engineering best practices (ETL/ELT, metadata management, data modeling, APIs, and tooling).
  • Build and enforce a robust data governance framework that ensures data accuracy, security, privacy, and lifecycle management.
  • Define policies for data stewardship, metadata standards, access controls, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., privacy frameworks).
  • Drive the development of insightful analytics products, dashboards, and reporting tools that empower operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead efforts in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and experimentation to surface opportunities and drive business outcomes.
  • Promote a company-wide culture of data literacy, self-service analytics, and evidence-based decisions.
  • Establish metrics, KPIs, and data quality benchmarks that are meaningful and actionable across the organization.
  • 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or engineering leadership roles with a track record of building and scaling data functions in high-growth environments.
  • BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline from a top-tier university
  • Experience with modern data platforms (cloud data warehouses like Redshift/Snowflake/BigQuery, ETL/ELT tools, data lake technologies, BI/visualization tools).
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional analytics programs and driving measurable business impact.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics tooling, data modeling, and governance principles.
  • Ability to translate complex business questions into analytical frameworks and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills — able to inspire teams and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Adept at setting priorities, managing ambiguity, and balancing long-term vision with rapid execution.
  • Experience in fintech, B2C product analytics, or technology startup is a plus.
  • Health & Wellness: 100% employer-covered medical insurance for employees (75% for dependents), plus dental and vision coverage
