The primary function of this position is to direct and oversee the activities associated with the planning, building, and deployment of SBA DAS network assets. This position is also responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality of work and achieving excellence in all objectives; ensuring workflow is being achieved and milestones are being reached in a timely fashion; providing management direction, supervision, and leadership for the team and ensuring successful completion of all deliverables. The Director, DAS Operations is responsible for developing and leveraging relationships within the vendor ecosystem to generate new leads and collaborate with internal parties on new strategic initiatives.

  • Lead, develop, and manage direct reports who are responsible for the planning, building, and deployment of the organization's DAS network assets.
  • Allocate resources and delegate responsibilities to team to ensure an effective and efficient department.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Compliance, Network Ops Center (NOC), Site Administration, etc.) to deliver status updates on projects as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement for construction within assigned areas of responsibility with a focus on quality, safety, and cost.
  • Monitor and manage cost through forecasts and ongoing oversight.
  • Track, manage, and report progress and variances to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor methods and procedures to capture and track critical issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop a channel/partnership program with industry leading DAS players in distribution, integration, public safety compliance, site acquisition vendors, and OEMs nationwide.
  • Create a co-selling approach and incentive program for strategic partners to properly align parties in order to enhance and expand lead-sharing/sourcing efforts.
  • Advance strategies to increase venue-funded opportunities and create marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the development of a marketing strategy/approach to promote the SBA Enterprise Program (e.g., define program, define partner value-prop).
  • Develops and drives a work culture committed to compliance, quality, and customer focus.
  • Interact with clients, consultants, general contractors, and internal departments.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field required.
  • 7+ years Experience in project management, commercial site development, business development, and commercial in-building construction required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing employee relations items in conjunction with the Human Resources department.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Valid Government Issued Driver's License.
