About The Position

The Director of Digital Operations & Cybersecurity is responsible for leading Signal Energy’s IT infrastructure, cloud operations, workplace technology, and cybersecurity capabilities. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of foundational digital services while protecting the enterprise against cyber threats. The Director is a senior people leader who balances deep cybersecurity and infrastructure expertise with strong business acumen, partnering closely with Digital Products, the PMO, and business leaders to enable safe, efficient, and resilient business operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated depth of expertise in cybersecurity domains such as NIST, CIS, Zero Trust, identity management, and incident response.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing enterprise-scale IT operations and security programs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, modern infrastructure architectures, and endpoint management.
  • Experience working with regulated environments, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with business strategy and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, workplace technology, and cybersecurity operations.
  • Own the enterprise cybersecurity program, including security operations, incident response, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and security policy.
  • Establish and mature IT service management practices (incident, request, change, asset, and configuration management).
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team across help desk, field IT support, systems administration, application administration, and cybersecurity.
  • Partner with Digital Products to ensure secure, reliable, and well-integrated digital solutions across the EPC lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Digital PMO to support disciplined execution, risk management, and operational readiness for digital initiatives.
  • Define and enforce IT governance, risk management, and compliance practices aligned to business and regulatory needs.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, managed service providers, cybersecurity partners, and technology contracts.
  • Manage functional budget and associated administrative artifacts (i.e., invoices) in collaboration with Digital PMO.
  • Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience for critical systems.
  • Communicate operational health, risks, and security posture clearly to executive leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on technology risk, cybersecurity posture, and operational resilience.
  • Provide strong leadership and stewardship towards compliance and risk management across the enterprise.
  • Build strong partnerships across Finance, HR, Legal, and Project Delivery.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and security awareness.
