The Cybersecurity Vendor Director will lead Climb's North American cybersecurity and network security business unit for a leading global vendor, driving significant revenue growth within the first 18 months. This role oversees all aspects of go-to-market execution, partner growth, vendor alignment, inventory management, operational efficiency, and P&L performance. You'll define and execute the business plan, manage a cross-functional team (sales, SE, quoting, and operations), and serve as Climb's primary interface with our key cybersecurity vendor and their channel leadership.

  • Own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for cybersecurity and network security solutions across North America.
  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans in alignment with strategic vendor partners.
  • Manage vendor managers, sales engineers, quoting, and operational support teams.
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Drive the growth of key named reseller and MSSP accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing to launch partner recruitment, enablement, and competitive displacement campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships with vendor, channel, and field teams.
  • Secure and manage market development funds (MDF), ensuring measurable ROI.
  • Oversee inventory forecasting and supply planning to meet partner demand while optimizing working capital.
  • Implement operational efficiency initiatives to streamline quoting, ordering, and fulfillment processes.
  • Monitor business performance metrics to ensure profitability, scalability, and execution excellence.
  • 8+ years of channel or vendor management experience in IT distribution, networking, or cybersecurity software.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and network security vendor ecosystems.
  • Proven success in scaling new vendor lines or business units within a distribution or channel-driven model.
  • Experience managing inventory and supply chain coordination for technology products.
  • Established relationships with VARs, MSSPs, and channel partners across North America.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
