As a member of the Cybersecurity organization, the Cybersecurity Director, Identity Protection provides strategic leadership for the planning, development, and strategic implementation of multiple Cybersecurity Identity programs across the organization. The Director oversees and guides a team of managers, and an overall department of engineers and analysts, ensuring leadership in mentorship, performance management, and fostering a high-performance culture. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional leaders, ensuring Cybersecurity strategies align with business objectives and regulatory requirements at a broader level. The Director will also participate in organization-wide risk assessments, overseeing the identification and management of Cybersecurity risks across all systems and data environments and will present risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership, including measurable metrics that demonstrate program effectiveness and security posture improvements. The Director will foster strong partnerships with business leaders to ensure that strategies and frameworks align with organizational goals, programs, and projects. By providing insights into emerging threats and technologies, the Director promotes innovation and enhances the overall security posture of the organization. The Cybersecurity Director, Identity Protection, as a member of the Senior Leadership team reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) has direct responsibility for the Identity Protection portfolio of services and technologies within the Cybersecurity Program. The Director will be accountable for leading, managing and operating capabilities including Authentication, Authorization, Identity Proofing, Directory Services, Identity Governance and Administration, Privilege Access Management, and Identity Auditing and Analytics. The role is also responsible for the continuous measurement, improvement and development of the IAM program through identifiable metrics (KPIs, OKRs, and other operational metrics), and the articulation of risk and applicable mitigation strategies. The role requires advanced knowledge of security principles related to Identity and Access Management technologies covering “on premise”, cloud, and third party platforms. The individual is expected to have extensive previous experience with the deployment and operation of modern IGA platforms, authorization platforms, and identity architectures and should have the capability to provide thought leadership for IAM technology and strategy in a highly regulated industry. Experience with modern leading Identity platform technologies is required.
